Several different impression materials are used in veterinary dentistry and oral surgery due to the need of replicate dental and oral structures in the laboratory. Those replicas are then used for prosthetic and orthodontic device production. With that, customized devices are produced in order to achieve the perfect fit of them to the patient. Chemical structure, properties, setting reaction and handling techniques will be discussed during the oral presentation. Several examples and videos will be presented to give more detailed and visual.
